Decades-old oak field barns, often older than ourselves, are the source of our reclaimed oak barnwood planks. Exposed to the elements for many years, these planks have developed beautiful deep grooves and an authentic, weathered character. After the brushing process, the warm tones of the oak wood re-emerge.

Decades-old field barns, often older than ourselves, are the source of our old-oak barnwood planks. The weathering to which these barns have been exposed for decades has given the planks beautiful deep grooves and an authentic, lived-in look. Unique widths of more than 30 cm are no exception! During careful barn demolition, the old oak planks are stripped of nails and selected for quality and length. Our barnwood type ‘Zagreb Brown’ has a less coarse appearance than our ‘Sarajevo’ type. Barnwood is not only a beautiful old-oak wood type, but also a sustainable choice. The wood is given a second life and brings a warm, authentic atmosphere to both interior and exterior.
‘Zagreb Brown’ is widely used for interior applications. Brushing the wood makes the beautiful brown tones stand out even more. In addition, we also offer this type of wood in shades of grey. Take a look at our barnwood type ‘Zagreb Grey’.
