In this atmospheric farmhouse in Deventer, wood plays an important role in the interior. Historisch Hout supplied “Oak Antique”, used as faux wood beams. The weathered wood complements the character of the farmhouse beautifully and adds extra warmth and atmosphere.

The distinctive grain, natural colour variations and visible traces of age give each beam a unique appearance. We also supplied reclaimed wood shelves for a stylish built-in niche, as well as a custom-made oak plank for the TV unit.

By using the same characterful oak in several areas of the interior, a harmonious and cohesive look is created, bringing together the historic charm of the farmhouse with contemporary living comfort.
