Reclaimed Wood Floorboards with Authentic Character

Our reclaimed wood flooring is made from carefully selected old oak that has developed rich textures and deep tones over decades. Each reclaimed wood floorboard carries its own history, creating a unique floor full of character and authenticity.

We produce reclaimed flooring in high-quality engineered planks with a birch plywood base and a solid reclaimed oak top layer of approximately 5 mm. This construction results in a total thickness of around 17–18 mm and provides excellent stability.

The engineered structure makes this reclaimed wood floor suitable for underfloor heating and ensures long-term durability. These planks can be fully bonded to the subfloor, making them ideal for both residential and commercial interiors.

Engineered Reclaimed Wood Flooring

Our engineered reclaimed wood flooring combines the authentic appearance of aged oak with modern stability. The layered construction minimizes movement in the wood while preserving the natural character of reclaimed timber.

Engineered reclaimed flooring is available in straight planks as well as classic layouts such as herringbone or panel floors. This makes it possible to integrate reclaimed wood into both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Because of the stable construction, engineered reclaimed wood flooring performs exceptionally well with underfloor heating systems.

Solid Reclaimed Wood Floorboards

For projects that require maximum authenticity, we also offer solid reclaimed wood flooring made from sawn oak boards. These planks are crafted from single pieces of aged oak and display the full beauty of historic timber.

A solid reclaimed wood floor showcases natural imperfections such as cracks, nail holes and irregular grain patterns. These features create a distinctive floor with deep tones and a unique patina developed over time.

Solid reclaimed flooring is ideal for interiors where underfloor heating is not required and where the focus is on character and historical appearance.

The Natural Character of Reclaimed Flooring

The unique appeal of reclaimed wood flooring comes from decades of natural aging. Exposure to weather and use creates rich color variations, textured surfaces and a warm patina that cannot be replicated with new wood.

Reclaimed Wood Flooring vs New Oak Flooring

The main difference between reclaimed wood flooring and newly produced oak flooring lies in age, character and sustainability.

A reclaimed wood floor is made from salvaged oak taken from historic buildings such as barns, farmhouses or industrial structures. This wood has matured naturally over decades or centuries, resulting in a rich patina and unique surface features.

New oak flooring, in contrast, is produced from freshly cut timber. While it has a clean and consistent appearance, it lacks the aged texture and historical character found in reclaimed flooring.

Why Choose Reclaimed Wood Flooring

Choosing reclaimed wood flooring offers several important advantages:

  • unique appearance with natural character

  • sustainable use of existing materials

  • durable oak that has already proven its longevity

  • timeless aesthetic suitable for both classic and modern interiors

By reusing historic oak, reclaimed flooring reduces the demand for newly harvested timber while preserving the beauty of aged wood.
