Decades old oak field barns, often older than ourselves, are the source of our barnwood type “Zagreb.” Due to years of exposure to the elements, these oak planks have developed beautiful deep grooves and a characteristic, lived-in appearance.

Decades-old field barns, often older than ourselves, are the source of our barnwood type ‘Zagreb’. Years of exposure to weather have given these planks beautiful deep grooves and a characteristic, aged look. Unique widths of more than 30 cm are no exception! When barns are demolished, the old oak planks are carefully stripped of nails and selected for quality and length.
Our barnwood type ‘Zagreb’ has a less coarse appearance than our type ‘Sarajevo’.
Barnwood “Zagreb” is not only a stunning type of wood but also a sustainable choice. The old oak wood gets a second life and brings a warm, authentic atmosphere to any project. Barnwood “Zagreb Grey” is often used for exterior applications. This wood type is also available in brown tones. For that, check out our barnwood type “Zagreb Brown.”
